Craving a taste of the tropics?
Dine out at one of Philadelphia’s great restaurants while benefitting a great cause during Caribbean Cuisine Week, April 16 to 18. The dining event raises money for athletes from Trinidad, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Grenada to attend this month’s Olympic-level track race, the Penn Relays.
Caribbean restaurants and non-Caribbean restaurants alike are set to participate in the festivities with Caribbean or Latin-American dinner specials for less than $33. Cuba Libre, Mixto, Tashan and all three locations of Sabrina’s are just some of the restaurants across the city that are slated to serve up tasty fare for the occasion.
The full list of participating restaurants is available here.
The restaurant’s a la carte menus will be available in addition to Caribbean-themed dishes specially prepared for the occasion.
Participating restaurants will donate seven percent of their profit from the three-day event to the cause.
