Participating Restaurants & Menu Sneak Peeks
More than 125 restaurants take part in this winter’s event, featuring menu items of all kinds.
New participants this time around include the new-to-Rittenhouse Giuseppe & Sons — a traditional Italian restaurant in partnership with the Termini bakery family — as well as two Washington Square spots: Sedition and Fat Salmon.
Sedition’s American fare Restaurant Week dinner menu includes butternut squash soup with apple butter and chervil; chicken liver pate with pickled onion toast points; hand-rolled gnocchi with broccoli capers and shaved egg yolk in an alfredo sauce; and other savory dishes. Lunch options include beer-braised brisket, and a roast beet and kale salad.
Fat Salmon offers dinner guests a choice of some of its delicious sushi and sashimi, plus a smoked squid appetizer and mochi ice cream.
Long-time favorites return to Restaurant Week this season, as well.
Barbuzzo, the Mediterranean Gayborhood spot, plates lunch and dinner, featuring dishes like caciocavallo-stuffed meatballs in a San Marzano sauce with caper-pepper relish, campanelle pasta with roasted butternut and broccoli pesto, and tiramisu with La Colombe espresso-dipped ladyfingers
Spanish tapas bar Amada in Old City also serves lunch and dinner throughout Restaurant Week. Menu favorites like ham croquettes and garlic shrimp top the first-course list on both menus, complemented by crab-stuffed pepper, octopus and calamari — plus puff pastries for dessert.
All Restaurant Week menus are available on the Center City District website.
