Heads up, food fans: The Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival returns to Main Street Manayunk this spring on Sunday, April 12.
Reprising its fall debut, the bi-annual fest brings back its beer garden on Cotton Street and a designated kids area at Canal View Park — and will close down Main Street for vehicular traffic to allow for even more food truck goodness.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., more than 40 food trucks will line Main Street alongside gourmet food vendors, local restaurants and shops.
In addition to the food trucks’ and restaurants’ regular fare, festivalgoers can also look forward to special dishes that highlight the featured ingredient of the spring festival: strawberries.
Also browse sidewalk sales and attend in-store events at downtown shops. Purchase jams, spices, fresh produce and more from an on-site market, too.
The full list of participating food trucks, retailers and restaurants will be available soon, so stay tuned for more information on this food truck festival!
And note, too, Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival serves as a precursor to Manayunk's restaurant week, which runs from April 12 through April 24.
