New Restaurants and Best Bets

East Passyunk has undoubtedly become one of Philadelphia’s best restaurant row.

Tried-and-true spots like Marra’s, Paradiso, Pub on Passyunk East, Le Virt and Cantina los Caballitos (the list goes on) established the corridor as a destination for every manner of fare, and in recent years a tight-knit community of highly chef-driven spots has expanded the neighborhood’s offerings with bold new options for awesome eats.

The latest additions to the neighborhood should not be missed. Take this opportunity to visit new restaurants like Townsend, Bing Bing Dim Sum, Brigantessa, Palladino’s and P’unk Burger.

Depending on the restaurant, a three-course prix-fixe brunch, lunch or dinner rings in at $15, $25 or $35.

Avenue favorites like Plenty, Stogie Joe's, Marra's, South Philly Bar & Grill and the ever-classic Pub on Passyunk East offer up meals for $15, while places like Cantina Los Caballitos and Birra offer up $25 menus, and finer dining destinations like Noord, Fond, Le Virt and Will offer menus for $35.

Note that not all restaurants offer the restaurant week menus every day. For instance, Le Virt offers its three-course prix-fixe dinner on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, while Fond serves its menu Sunday, and Tuesday through Thursday.
