Roundup: A Guide To Restaurant Weeks To Look Forward To Throughout The Philadelphia Region This Winter 2015

With winter in full swing, restaurant week events fill neighborhoods and towns throughout the Philadelphia region.

As Old Man Winter sets in, restaurants across the Philadelphia region open their doors for winter editions of restaurant week — deals on meals, anyone?

We’ve rounded up restaurant weeks to look forward to this winter — from dining deals filling restaurants from right now all the way through late-winter.

Ambler Restaurant Week

January 12-19. Starting January 12, the town of Ambler satisfies appetites all around with its annual Ambler Restaurant Week. This year, 15 restaurants are participating and guests can look forward to prix-fixe options at a variety of price points and some additional specials during both dinner and lunch. Visit spots like Cantina Feliz, Forest & Main Brewing Company and Bridget's Steakhouse for frugal feasts. MORE INFO

Center City Restaurant Week

January 18-23 and 25-30. An area favorite, Center City Restaurant Week returns to more than 100 restaurants in Rittenhouse, Midtown Village and Old City. Participating eateries offer three-course dinners for only $35 per person and a three-course lunch for $20. Head to top Center City restaurants like Zahav, Barbuzzo, Amada, El Vez and Oyster House to seize the bargain. MORE INFO

Sampan

Media Restaurant Week

February 22-26 and March 1-5. In celebration of Media Restaurant Week, participating restaurants will plate three- to five-course meals for $30 per person. Media’s fall edition of restaurant week brought dining deals to nearly 20 restaurants throughout the town, so guests of the winter edition can expect a similar turnout. Bonus: There’s free parking after 5 p.m. in Media. MORE INFO

East Passyunk Restaurant Week

February 22-February 28. It’s no secret that the East Passyunk neighborhood is a bustling restaurant row complete with Top Chefs and tried-and-true eateries. From February 22 through 28, East Passyunk puts on its own restaurant week featuring dinner and lunch menus at $15, $25 and $35 depending on the restaurant. Last year, the deal filled 24 restaurants like Stateside, Marra’s and Noord. Stay tuned for this year’s participants. MORE INFO

New Hope Restaurant Week

March 1-6. In early March, the town of New Hope in Bucks County welcomes diners for New Hope Restaurant Week. Last year, 29 restaurants throughout the town participated in the dining promotion with prix-fixe meals and special eats. A variety of restaurants participated in 2014 — Southern restaurants, Italian eateries, French spots, American fare and more. A similar turnout in 2015 is expected. MORE INFO

Chestnut Hill Restaurant Week

March 1-4 and 8-11. The town of Chestnut Hill gets in on the dining action with lunch and dinner deals during its own restaurant week this March. Restaurants will be serving up $15 lunches and $35 dinners. Last year, 24 eateries — like Mica, Cake, Heirloom and Iron Hill Brewery — participated in the dining deal. MORE INFO

Dine KOP

March 2-8. The restaurants of King of Prussia will band together for Dine KOP, a restaurant week event at more than 18 restaurants. Lunch menus are available at $10, $20 or $30 — depending on the restaurant — and $20, $30 or $40 for dinner, also depending on the restaurant. Participating restaurants include The Melting Pot, Rock Bottom Brewery, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and The Capital Grille. MORE INFO

Bonus: Meat Week at Percy Street Barbecue

January 18-30. Meat will fill the menu at Percy Street Barbecue during meat week. Those who show up for dinner from January 18 to 30 can share a massive family-style spread of barbecue chicken, pulled pork, smoked beef brisket, cornbread, macaroni & cheese and other classic sides for just $20 per person.
