Seeking a sweet summer dining deal? No sweat.

The first-ever Old City Restaurant Week kicks off eight days of bargains this Sunday, July 20.

Running July 20-27, the debut year of this Old City District dining event includes deals on meals at 28 neighborhood restaurants.

Starting this weekend, diners can score a three-course lunch or dinner for $15, $25 or $35, depending on the restaurant.

With a stellar lineup of both casual and high-end eateries, choices run the gamut from a three-course $35 dinner at High Street on Market, Amada or Farmacia to a $25 dinner at 4 Fathers Philadelphia or Continental Restaurant & Martini Bar, to $15 lunch at Rosa Blanca or Revolution House. And that’s just a handful of the offerings.

Plus, restaurant week participants should look out for the specially crafted “Cobblestone” ice cream for dessert. Made by The Franklin Fountain, the chocolate, peanut butter swirl and pretzel confection will be available at many participating restaurants.

As for drinks, the folks from Great Lakes Brewing and Southern Wine & Spirits have jumped in to offer participating restaurants deals on select beer, wine and spirits.

Plus, the fashionable ladies from the Smak Parlour Fashion Truck will pop up along the streets of Old City throughout the week.

Capitalizing on the momentum of a huge Night Market Philadelphia in Old City this past May, the district continues to draw diners to the area with this week-long event, and will follow-up its first restaurant week with its first Old City Fest, coming up on October 12.
